It's hard to find the
words to describe a musician like Frank Zappa. When assembling notes to be used in a final draft, they all seem as distantly related from
each other as possible.
Witness:

- Satire/Serious
- Stravinsky/Doo-Wop
As bizarre a personality as he was, his lyrics
and juxtaposition and merging of musical genres was even more so. But somehow it all worked. Most likely a genius that few understood, his music attracted a large following and he produced
a profusion of music to satisfy his eager fans.
The Zombies, originating in the UK in the early 60's, were famous for their three top singles, "She's Not There", "Tell Her No", and "Time of the Season".
The featured album by ZZ Top, is just straight out blues/rock without the synthesized drums and studio effects. Easily, their best stuff.
