Brian Wilson-Muddy Waters-Jackie Wilson-Stevie Wonder-The Who Music Trivia @ Memory Hit
Copyright © 2005 Memory Hit - All Rights Reserved

Brian WilsonFirst let me pay the proper respect to all the great performers on this page - Junior Walker riding "Shotgun", Dionne showing us the way to San Jose, to the Man, Muddy Waters, Mary Wells bragging about her guy, The Who, who have simply produced hit after hit for decades, the "Lonely Teardrops" of Jackie Wilson, and one of the original Supremes, Mary Wilson, the near flawless music of Steve Winwood, and Bobby Womack one of the originators of the wah-wah guitar sound and chum to Sam Cooke and Jimi Hendrix, to the one man hit parade, Stevie Wonder. All great musicians who reached and exceeded the top of their professions.

But the most striking (my opinion) is the perseverance and resurgence of Brian Wilson. Some have claimed he is the greatest American composer of popular music in modern times.

Much has been written about the events in his life the past 25 years...so we won't detail them here, but suffice to say, the fact that he produced his latest album, laden with most of the genius works of the past and in particular "Pet Sounds", proves this man still has his great chops. Take a listen to the featured album, sample some of the old tunes...and marvel.
