Out of Flint Michigan came
? and the Mysterians in the early 60's and produced a garage band classic in "96 Tears".
Queen, fronted by the charasmatic Freddie Mercury produced an operetic and dynamic live performance that some say is
unequalled to this day. Queen was one of the most important music influences of the 70's and 80's, and their music
has lived on and flourished through the 90's and even today. At almost any sports venue you will hear the anthemic "We Are The Champions" played
en masse. And what air singer has not sung the heavily voice overdubbed "Bohemian Rhapsody"? Sadly the bands' campy lead singer, Freddie Mercury passed
away from AIDS in 1992.
