buddy holly notesIts an interesting point to note that good music stays popular forever. Being a baby boomer, Buddy Holly was just a beat too early for me to appreciate until I got a little older and had a better understanding of music. As a relatively new fan of his, I must admit I missed the boat. Take a listen to this great musician, notice the chord progressions and complex lines, you'll see how ahead of his time he truly was.

Another interesting fact is the vast number of major performers who copied his style.
